��������� On October 17, 2008 I went to Oglethorpe House Ball room for an ldquo;Art First Lecture Series.rdquo;� Presented by the SCAD foundation studies department. On that day there was two professors gave us a lecture, the first one is Andrew F. Scott. He showed us a few of his works; one is the South Pool in Ohio. He will design his work on the computer first then he starts to make the actual art works. He also makes a lot of sculpture; he showed us some of his working process. He mention that he like to tell his student his doubts for his artworks and his student will gave him answers that he never think before.� I really like the way he done something, however not so much the finish product. I was tempted to go to one of his sculpture class, because I really like to make my hand dirty, I love art work which I can touch and feel, not so much about the computer and digital.
��������� The second artist is professor Henry Dean. He is my friendrsquo;s drawing teacher. Professor Dean sometimes go to a certain place and stay there for a week or even more. Then he will draw what he sees. He said he always have his sketchbook with him wherever he go. A few works he showed us is in water. He put his artworks in water and then he seat on the boat to painted them. Professor Dean showed us new ways of doing things, every thing can be done in a different way.�
